Day 3 Aggressive massaged donor area

I had a hair transplant on Friday and on the following Monday (day 3) my donor area was itching really badly so I got into the bath and very aggressively massaged my donor area and around the transplanted hair.

I never touched the transplanted hair but went right next to it around the edges. After about 5-10 minutes of aggressively rubbing and scratching, I rinsed off the soap but as I did that I notice hundreds of hairs falling out from the transplanted area. They were all coming off and in big patches with the scabs, I realised that even though I didn't touch the transplanted hair, from how aggressive I was rubbing the donor area, it was pulling and pushing my skin around to the point it dislodged all of the transplanted hair.

I'm now really worried these were all grafts that came out or whether it was just the hair follicles that got dislodged and fell out?

Without seeing pictures it’s impossible to say if they were lost grafts or shed grafts. At 4 days post-op grafts are usually secure. Have you contacted the clinic with your concerns? It may be too late now to visit the clinic and have the area checked.
Which clinic did you go to and how many grafts did you receive?
