Is the patient using any hair loss medications?

Im not sure but now looking at it zooming in might be styling a certain way to achive that density
Thats what most of us guys do who have had a transplant, we have a sweet spot meaning a style that makes transplants look thicker than it really is
If im wrong ok

Maybe some hairloss fibres in there ??
Thank you, we will take that as a compliment!

The patient has never used hair loss fibres. The result is a combination of long hair styling, excellent hair shaft calibre and low skin and hair colour contrast.
I hope it helps!

Is the graft survival rate in the crown lower or is it just an excuse for poor transplant surgeons?

Is the graft survival rate in the crown lower or is it just an excuse for poor transplant surgeons?
Hi @Luka, thank you for your question!
It is important to note that the crown area can present unique challenges in hair transplantation. This is not necessarily an excuse for poor transplant surgeons; rather, it is a result of various factors specific to the crown region.

The crown area typically requires a higher number of grafts for adequate coverage due to the swirl and change in hair direction around it. This characteristic makes it difficult to achieve a compound effect where all the hair points in the same direction, which can impact the overall appearance and density of the transplanted hair. Therefore, a higher graft number is often needed to ensure a natural and satisfactory result.

Moreover, it has been observed that hair growth in the crown area may take longer compared to other areas of the scalp. It typically takes around 15 months, and sometimes up to 18 months, for the transplanted hair in the crown to fully mature.

I hope this information clarifies the factors at play in the crown area during hair transplantation. Should you have any more questions or need further assistance, please feel free to ask. We are here to help.

Best regards,
