Everything looks ok at this stage. A few lingering scabs that will fall off when ready.

I had some linger for 2 weeks plus. I would touch the edges which were slightly loose and get a strong desire to pick/rub them but I resisted letting the healing process take its natural course.

Hi All

Here is an update from three weeks post hair transplant yesterday.

Three weeks is random, there are hairs growing quite long and thick (I know they are going to shed) some that don’t seem to have grown much and some that have fallen out already so all in all it’s a bad look haha.

The right side has had more shed by now. I can see sparser areas where hair was before but also easy to tell as the skin underneath becomes more visible with less hair it is looking red or pinker. It’s not so red looking in the mirror but in photos does look rather red so hopefully the camera accentuates it.

Also a photo of the donor at three weeks that I have had cut and blended in a bit but that looks and feels great and has since week 1 really

Any comments or questions welcome.

Looks pretty good at this stage. Some lingering scab/inflammation that will hopefully clear up completely in the next few days. It could be a touch of folliculitis. Keep in regular contact with the doctor who will advise accordingly. Your donor looks very good. It doesn’t look as though you’ve had shock loss which helps a lot when waiting for it to return to a normal look.

Hi All

I am now 6 weeks post hair transplant. I have shed nearly all grafts from about week 3 which is why I haven’t updated since as not much to report. I am starting to get a few pimples now. One or two here and there.

When I have my camera really zoomed in on my phone I see lots of tiny thin colourless hairs. Is that the start of early hair growth does anyone know? I can’t see them by eye only with the camera on.

It looks like you could have a touch of folliculitis. A warm damp compress helps clear the pimples. If it becomes inflamed your doctor may supply an antibiotic cream.
Send the clinic an update to see what they advise.
