Dr Bruno Pinto - 2352 grafts - Feb 3rd 2023

Hi Guys

Just wanted to update my thread.

I have recently been back to Porto for a check up at around 15 months.

it was great to see Dr Bruno again and to see the comparative photos. It really does show me just how far I have come, to be honest I got a bit emotional and teary looking at how good my hair is now compared to how it used to be. It really has changed my life a lot and I feel some much more confident in everything

i did always have a slightly weaker area just to the right slightly. I have circled it in green in one of the photos.

if anything it makes it look even more natural.

I just leave it most of the time but Dr Pinto asked if I ever feel the need to put fibres in it. I was honest and said if going outside on a sunny day I have on occasion put one spray in there just to lessen the contrast to scalp but I don’t always and he said if I feel the need to do that even once then I’m not 100% happy and he won’t stop until I am and so insisted on fixing it.

he has offered to touch it up for me and said it needs so few grafts to fill it out that I wouldn’t even need to shave

i always knew he was a perfectionist but the man I so genuine and patient focused I am so glad I decided to go with him. IMO opinion he is one of the absolute best and I can’t speak highly enough him

Your hair looks great. I`m pleased you are happy with it. The slightly weaker side does not impact in any way the naturalness of your hair. A very nice gesture by Dr Pinto to add more grafts if at some point you decide you want a little more density.
Thanks for popping back with this update.
Enjoy your new hair and look.
All the best.
Bm.

Great result, very natural indeed and I don't think you'd need a touch up on the circled spot.

People have commented how much better my hair looks with a better haircut. I take that as a compliment that my hair is looking good as I couldn’t have had this hair style before Dr Pinto gave me a hairline.

I am sure people must think it’s looking way better than it used to a probably suspect I have had some work but no one has ever outright asked me. I’m just glad I can have different hairstyles and not hide my hairline anymore

Maybe if they ever look at old photos of you they will see the change. It’s nice they are complimenting your hair when cut as it does look very good.

Hi Everyone

I am just updating this thread as a couple of weeks ago I went back to Porto to see Dr Bruno Pinto for a small touch up.

I had a weaker right hand side because of a touch of folliculitis I had there early after previous hair transplant. Dr Bruno said there was a couple of patches where it had made it hard for hair to get through.

It wasn’t bad and still around 80% got through but as hair transplants are illusions of density anyway it was enough to stop me being able to style my hair from right to left without looking thinner. When styled left to right and it laid over you couldn’t tell really

I also had a scar on the left hand side I asked him to fill in. He obliged and said usually there is no issue but sometimes on scars we don’t get them all through so he did put a row of singles in front of it to give extra density which I thought was nice of him

I didn’t ask how many we used but before him doing it he said between 100-200 to get it right

He did it between my existing hair and the post op care is complete now and all scabs removed about day 11. Now the wait for them to all fall out and hopefully grow back nice and full

Here’s the photos of just after and of two weeks post

This should heal very quickly and give you the extra density in that small area. Nice placing between the hairs.

Thanks Big Mac I will update at 3 months when it’s hopefully started to grow in.

For now I am 4 weeks and it’s all healing pretty well

Hi all here are some photos updates of 4 weeks. A fair amount has shed but also holding on to a fair few still so they might continue to grow rather than shed.

Looking forward to month 3 where hopefully the grafts start to grow back thick and strong
