This patient in his early 40's visited The Maitland Clinic concerned about his hairline and crown. It was recommended as the patient had no desire to wear his hair short and never had, that FUT would be the best method to maximise his donor for potential future loss.
The patient started on Propecia at the time of the consultation in order to provide as much assurances of stability long term. It is important that when transplanting into the crown and lowering the hairline that you do all you can to make sure your hair is stable as possible. His loss was also very slow over the years.
Dr Edward Ball created an age appropriate hairline that would serve him well now, and in the future. He then created a natural crown whorl to fill in the bald spot and create greater density through the margins.
The patient returned 14 months post op delighted with his results which are shown below.

3155 Grafts FUT
499 Singles
1587 Doubles
1069 Triples

4 awesome repairs with SMG
It seems like a while since we have seen a clinic post crown work on the forums so it's great that when we do the work is superb like this. It takes great skill to get the whorl right and natural looking and can be a dead giveaway imo if it's not....this is perfect and looks as natural as can be.
I like the hairline work too, it's very subtle but shows a big cosmetic improvement that is completely natural looking and doesn't scream transplant like some Ht's can.
Perfection ¬b`
Never get tired of how a good ht can take years of a person....this guy looks a lot younger now.
