Patient has started taking propecia 3 months ago and he is also using rogeine.
Wanted to re-design his hairline and thickening up moving back between his existing hairs.
Because he had quite a lot of very thin one hair grafts we decided to double up some of them to give him better density.

We planted 1655 grafts in total.

504 1's
852 2's
179 3's
20 4's

The work looks nice and clean.

Did the patient request not to be shaven down or is this common practice for Dr Rogers.

Thanks bm.

Hi Bm

It is much easier for planting when patient agrees to shave, the problem is that some of them want to minimalise any signs of surgery as much as possible. In that case patient wanted to keep his hair longer and cover transplant with combing over so we had to work between. We would insist to shave his hair if we thought it is impossible to do a good job without and that is a common practice in our clinic.

The work is nice. Very refined and should make a nice cosmetic difference. I would guess from the wet photos that the patient is going to require more work in the future.

Depending how happy he is with his results and how much propecia would help in his case. He doesnt take it for long enough to judge. He has very realistic expectations and medication together with transplants might work good enough for him.
