Hi, I first heard of Dr Spammer from colleagues of mine when showing a photo of a friend who’d been there. On seeing this photo which I’ll post I was adamant I was going. I also watched a few of his videos on Dr Spammer, YouTube and watched the process and viewed similar guys to myself. One guy with roughly the same amount of hair as me blow me away as it changed his look so much.
It was a simple start process of sending my photos via WhatsApp and then getting a plan back. 4000/4600 grafts needed. Before going to Dr Spammer I asked several questions as I was a bit weary which is normal but the main one for me was my lack of hair. Basically did I have enough hair for a second transplant as I didn’t realise how bald I was funnily but I was given the go ahead if needed.
The sales team where very helpful right up to the time to fly.
Once in Istanbul I was taken from the airport to the clinic for blood tests and ECG and taken to the hotel which was fantastic.
I had a day in Istanbul where I went on a 6 hour food tour and site seeing which was great and then the next day we went for it.
The clinic was really nice and the staff very friendly. I had the scan to look at my follicles and then went to see Dr Spammer. With a room full of football shirts he was nice and any questions asked answered. He made me frown a couple of times before drawing the lines for my hair line plus observed where the follicles would be placed.
I was then scurried into the treatment room with many people. Dressed for the occasion I was then injected with local anaesthetic which I won’t lie hurt as they were in sensitive areas. It wore off eventually and then the extraction started. I felt it a little but facedown on a massage bed was a little uncomfortable but the best way to do it. This phase around 1 and half hours I think. The anaesthesic was having good effects by then and I was a bit out of it while have a sandwich and drink. There was 4000 grafts taken from the back of the head and 300 under the chin.
The next phase was the implants which took around 4 hours. I could feel it slightly but more numb and manipulating the head to get better access. Once finished and bandaged up I was taxied to the hotel where I slept very easy but on my back. I was given a sleeping tablet which worked. I didn’t need painkillers.
An early start the next day for me so I was taken back to the clinic for the bandages to be removed and first wash. Once completed I was given products then taken to the airport.
I would of liked to stay another day for the relax but for personal reasons I had to go.
For the first couple of weeks I was fine really. No need for painkillers of sleeping tablets.
The clinic were great keeping in contact to see how I was plus me sending photos. To this day I’m still getting regular check ups after 9months.
For me personally these guys were brilliant. I can’t say anything negative about them. With that I’ve just asked for my next plan so I hope to go back after my 12months for another 3000/3600 grafts.
Best of all my family, friends and colleagues have been really impressed and several are asking for the details Dr Spammer is the man.
