Hello.
Excuse me for asking the question
I have done both FUT and FUE hair transplant 6 weeks ago, and I still feel some liquid is dripping from my head like what's sweating like. And also I feel tingling burning sensation few times every hour, and it last for only seconds all of them are in reception area
Could anyone help what cause these problems?
Do I get nerve damage?

Six weeks your scalp recipient area should be clean, maybe bar some slight redness, and the transplanted hair may have shed. The donor, has the suture been removed from the FUT procedure? Nerves can be severed and can take a while to heal and slight pain can occur occasionally. Is the clinic close to you, have you spoken to them about your concerns. If you can post a few images of the areas you are concerned about, more so the strip scar an recipient.

Hello and thanks for your response.yes I think slight redness is still remain. And the suture been removed after 14 days (one month ago).
My problem is tingling most of the time on reception area (front of my head) and sometimes feeling dripping liquid on front of head. It will be worse when I want to sleep or really sweating and few times every hour I feel burning sensation. I spoke to clinic and they said it is probably normal and will be heal by time.
I don't know what cause these problems is it about harvesting when fue and fut or because when they transplant harvesting to front of my head. I attach picture.

Hello, for 6 weeks, it would be normal to expect your scalp to have, superficially at least, healed to a higher degree than your pictures suggest, but this maybe down to the number of grafts and their protocols. The strip scar appears to be fine, it´s still slightly red and to be expected, but no obvious signs of an issue. Your donor hair density is on the lower side, and the image of the back of your head suggests it was naturally better, as you have a higher density just below your crown, and a band of lower hair density below, which presumably the harvested from. Do you have any pictures of pre-surgery and how many grafts from each technique. The "feeling dripping liquid", do you mean it is literally a feeling and there is no liquid, or you have liquid dripping from your scalp? There is nothing obvious to suggest you have an open wound. If possible, you should book an appointment for a check-up with the clinic, better to be safe than sorry.

Hello and thank you
I think about 3000 graft from both technique but don't know the exact from which technique.
Yes it is feeling not liquid is visible just feeling
For example most of my feeling is tingling 80 percent and 20 percent of feeling is like tingling which like liquid dripping
Yes I have picture before surgery
Does it nerve damage or not?
Or is it for harvesting or implanting hair on front head?
Can mri with 3 Tesla help if it is nerve damage or not?

Hello, you should contact your clinic and have them address these concerns, it´s not something a forum can give you definitive answers to. Nerve damage can occur from a hair transplant, generally it´s very minor, with minimal discomfort and heals itself over the coming weeks. Occasionally it can be long lasting, your clinic or a specialist is best to assess the next step in that. Your donor hair, you have either suffered shock loss pretty much over the entire harvested area, or they over harvested to reach whatever numbers they wanted. If shock loss, starting minoxidil may help to stimulate the dormant hair follicles back into the growth phase. But, again, you need to address these matters with your clinic, they have a responsibility to help.

Definitely head back for a follow up. Best to get this assessed by the surgeon.

Hello again and thanks for your response
My doctor said it will be ok with time . I don't forget to tell you that the reception area which I feel weird sensation is also numb . Im surprised why on donor area where the surgery take place is normal but reception area is numb and weird sensation which I describe above. Can the reason relate to nerve damage?
Is this cause by harvesting or implanting?
Yes I also use minoxidil .and yes I think it's over harvested.

I ask my surgeon and she said it will be ok. She said just wait more three months. I asked about the surgery and she said it was good and strip was narrow.

You can only speculate on why the recipient and not the donor, maybe the medications used, or the the hair placement technique, impossible to say without further knowledge. However, at almost 2 months post procedure issues such as numbing or a burning sensation are not the norm. Let´s hope it will be fine. If your doctor´s patients all have similar experiences at 2 months, and all ends well, then the maybe a reason your doctor seems not to be concerned. However, it´s not the norm, and it would be nothing for the doctor to arrange a check-up to hopefully remove your concerns. You can read through many testimonials here about healing, while some experience some discomfort or numbing after, it reduces fast. Your donor, hopefully you will start to see the hair density improve over the next month or so, keep applying the minox.

Hello
I think it's not liquid . It's feeling that liquid moving under skin. In this week I think this feeling limited to front of head and for other reception area(numb area ) feeling is transforming to tingling. Less severe than previous feeling but it's happen more . Also itching + burning sensation is added. About 10 times each of them in a day. It happen less when Im in cold weather . Think it's gonna the reason is nerve damage. My doctor said it will be heal . Other doctor said the nerve has been a little damage and they are recovering themselves. They said it will be back normal by couple of weeks. But I'm a little concern about this problems.

I think for me it's lasting more than usual. A little concern about it but hope to resolve.
When use minox it start burning sensation. I alter using minox till this feeling gone a way.

Yes, I am sure you are concerned. I am concerned of the flippant nature of your doctor, have they made any comment on your donor region and the either shock-loss or harvesting issue? Using minox at almost 2 months should not cause a burning sensation, not unless you had this problem prior to surgery. The vast majority can go back to using minox a week to fourteen days post op without any negative issues. You need to document your experience, on here is fine but you need to maintain dialogue with the doctor and ensure they understand your concerns. Hopefully all will be fine in the long term, but in the face of a problem, you don´t want the doctor to be able to turn and say "you should have let me know" as a way to push the blame on you for not acting faster. Maybe a visit to a good dermatologist would help to give you answers.

@Understanding Hair hello.
It's look like week before . The difference is I think the location where tingling happen is spread. Now it's look like insect is crawling on my head . My surgeon still persist it's psychological not real. But neurologist said you have to wait till 6 month and probably it will resolve by then

Not great, nerve damage, tingling sensation is quite common, same as a some numbing, but these are issues that go in a fist few week or so for the vast majority. You are now roughly 2 months post surgery and your doctor, in my view, is not taking it seriously, probably not wanting to admit even it could be real and due to the surgery. Just make sure you document everything and keep the doctor informed on a regular basis, maybe every 2 weeks.

How is your donor, any improvement in the hair growth, signs it is starting to thicken at all. Best regards,
