Excercising after HT

Hi

I am 3 weeks post op and was wondering when I can start training again? I normally play football but will probably wait until around the 2 month mark before I go back; but what about cardio work in the gym i.e excersice bikes etc; am I ok to start this now?

you should be fine mate to do cardio work just no weights, crunches etc or anything that would put pressure on the scar, but excercise bikes treadmills etc will be ok dude:)

I went back to the gym after 4 weeks, did lift weights, but only on a lowish weight and had no problems with the scar.

I would wait a while longer before lifting weights just to be on the safe side as its easy to put pressure on your donor area.

As for the bike and treadmill,i cant see any problem with that.
