There is a very good article in the Oct/2012 issue of Life Extension Magazine. It is usually available online the following month so those interested I suggest looking it up. The article The FDA Exposed is an interview with Dr. David Graham that still works with the FDA and has been a whistle blower specifically with Vioxx. Very enlightening for how the system works and valuable information for anyone that requires a need for prescription medication. I find it incredible that the death toll from this drug was close to 500,000 yet they were still trying to cover it like nothing was wrong. They even offered this senior drug safety researcher a better position in the agency if he wouldn t testify, now that is amazing.
It will give you a better understanding of how the drug approval process does not always have your safety in mind and a better understanding of how information systems can be corrupted.
