Female Alopecia Areata Sufferer - SMP

Here we have a lady that had suffered from varying degrees of aloecia areata for some time, patches would close then open elsewhere, until it got to the stage it was impossible to hide.

By nature she is not a shy person but the AA dented her confidence, and having to answer questions about her health, as people assumed her hair loss was due to an illness.

As much as possible she wanted to have at least the look of evenness, rather than the patchy look from the alopecia. She felt comfortable with what SMP could give her, and cosmetically had no problem as a woman having a shaved look.

Due to the nature of alopecia areata it took a few more sessions than normal because more patches would open, so having to balance that against the treated area.

She is more than happy with the result, doesn ´t feel the need to hide under a hat any longer and restored her confidence again.

Her hair line, temples and nape area were designed with a softer toning, building up to a deeper look of density to ensure there were no harsh lines of definition in these areas. The idea was never to build a deep tone, but more shading for her, at her request.

Hair loss is hard for anyone to cope with and I think particularly AA due to the patterning of loss that manifests itself. Happy for her that she got some confidence back here.
