Frontal only or crown also

Im currently n5 and thinning out pretty bad. Taking finasteride 11 months now and looking into HT. Can't decide on going with

1) Dr ozem Bicer
2) Dr resul yaman

Dr bicer has recommended that i get frontal only (2500 grafts) as the incisions can stimulate balding and to speak to dermatologist for thickening my crown.

I have spoken with many other clinics that have recommended 3500-5000 grafts. Can anyone recommend whats best to do in my position i would prefer to have all the thinning covered but want to do it right. Also don't want to take minoxoxil.

Any help much appreciated.

You’re not a Norwood 5 but the diffuse thinning pattern looks like that’s where you’re heading.
Has the Finasteride stabilised the loss? This or Dut is your best option to maintain and possibly regrow miniaturised or dormant hairs.

If you go down the HT route I would choose Dr Bicer.

I think it has stabilised it but no regrowth. Was expecting some regrowth but nearly at 12 month its unlikely. would prp be worth a try?

Sometimes it’s hard to notice any re growth but it could be there. The important part is stabilisation which by the sounds of it has been achieved. You could add other things such as oral minoxidil unless that’s a no go as you stated not wanting to use it but I don't know if that’s referring to the topical.
PRP might help. The success rate from what I know is on the low side, especially when compared to Finasteride and Minoxidil. You won’t know until you try it.
What does your hairline look like?

I believe this patient has a similar hair loss pattern to you.

I would be open to trying oral minoxidil, but couldn't find where to buy it in the uk, It was more the commitment of applying topical for a lifetime put me off. Do you know if oral has similar success rates? his does look very similar

I’m thinking you may need more than 2500 grafts. The numbers all depend on donor availability, your expectations and what can realistically be achieved. Graft estimates may change when you see the doctor in person.
You can get Oral minoxidil from the Farjo, clinic. Doc1 is using it. You could ask him on his thread how he feels about it. Doc1 hair transplant/oral minoxidil

Keep on the Finasteride because some months when you have a heavy shed you think it is not working but it is. The next month your hair looks better.

Finasteride usually takes 6-12 months to see results. I`m pretty sure this will apply to after 12 months. Preventing or slowing down your genetic loss is the main aim. If you up your medical therapy regimen, you may not need a HT if you respond well.
A HT is not guaranteed to grow. A small percentage donut get the desired yield. It`ll take 12 months to know if it’s a success or not. The same time frames to see if meds work.
How old are you?
When did you notice your hair was thinning?
