FUE Questions before Transplant

Hi Guys,I am planning to go in for my FUE HT at the Middle or end of Feb and would really appreciate some advice on a few issues. * I was earlier taking Finasteride (Finax) on and off for a while, and only recently (about 20 days now) starting taking it regularly. By the time, its time for surgery, I would have been on Finax on daily basis for about 2 and a half months. Would you say, I would be at a higher risk of shock loss because of this?* Out of the 3 doctors I have shortlisted, some of them mention that the extraction part is done by "Nurses" only and the doctors are not directly involved. Could this effect the quality of the end result?* Post Operation Make-up: I normally use Kaboki now and I wonder, if it would be the best product to cover up the post-surgery redness or if there are any other recommendations as I would ideally like to be able to go to back to work at the most 15 days after surgery (without any embarasement). Thanks

You should be fine re the meds and your surgery. As for cover up, what size surgery are you having and will you have the recipient site shaved. I used Nanogen and Dermmatch ten days post op with no problems, I just made sure I washed it out every night, then re applied the next day.

My experience is that concealer doesn't seem to be an issue and at 2 weeks I think you should be fine.

What exactly does that mean "nurses perform the extractions"? Are the doctors involved in any way?
