Strip or fut procedure is when a strip of scalp is cut from your safe donor zone, the grafts from the strip are then dissected into follicular units containing one two three or even four hairs which are then re planted into the thinning /balding area on top of the scalp.
The donor area is then sutured or stapled together, after approximately ten days they are removed as the area will have healed together.
