Hello folks,
After 3 HT (2 in India and 1 in Miineapolis) and years of Finasteride and 40 years age, the hairloss started to come back and currently in this stage (pics to the thread). Based on the last HT , the doc mentioned that i dont have much donor area left as the density is quite less. So i have given up on expecting a full head of hair and any more transplants. I am trying out a new regiment from reading and researching this forum and youtube etc. Please advise if you see any missing gaps or overkill.

- Twice a week (Mon, Thurs) due a 0.5 mm derma roller in the morning. (applying minoxidil immediately after the derma roller)
- Daily twice Kirkland Minoxidil 5% morning and evening
- Biotin oil once in the afternoon (every other day)

Hi Koolhyd.
Who were the clinics you had your surgeries with? Have you any pictures and surgery information from them?
Right now your hair looks like a naturally thinning pattern. You’ve not been left with something that looks wrong.
Have you considered adding Finasteride back to your regimen?

My 1st and 2nd were from India (dont remember the name. it was almost 15 years ago). The third was with Shapiro Medical. I did use finasteride all these years and just stopped as i was disappointment with the progress.

applying minoxidil immediately after the derma roller
I don't think that applying minoxidil immediately after derma-rolling is a good idea. Some people think that by doing so they increase the amount of minoxidil absorbed into the scalp but, from what I understand, the purpose of the derma-roller is actually to cause minor injuries to the skin, in the hope that this will spur the skin to "heal itself" (and might lead to minor regrowth.) Applying the minoxidil right away is only likely to burn the scalp.

Are you still taking finasteride?

How many grafts did you have with Shapiro? Have you any surgery details/pictures?
I think you may still have some scalp grafts left. You could add a little density to the frontal third but if you’re simply wanting to try the non surgical options you could consider oral minoxidil, topical Finasteride.
Without seeing pictures and knowing more about your surgeries it’s difficult to know your hair loss history. If your donor hair is thinning out and transplanted grafts succumbing to DHT.
Did Dr Shapiro not mention different things to try?

The results take some time of the hair transplant surgery depending upon the surgery and the medication which subscribe by the surgeon ..
