Hair Dr 18 months results!

Hi folks, at 18 months now. I just popped into the clinic this morning and they couldn't believe how different I looked. It was quite emotional really.
I'm so glad I got the procedure work done, it's truly a dream come true. Yes the early days are scary but it's worth it so hang in there you guys who are in your early stages!

I've got some quick pics from today. The hairline images are from my 16 month stage.
Very natural, you can't really tell they're grafts tbh, unbelievable work.

I would imagine the crown took quite a lot of grafts. How many did you have in total?

How did the growth in the crown progress? I'm 9 months in and i've started getting more growth in my crown over the past few weeks (itchiness, spots etc) so am hoping for a final flourish. To be fair to the clinic, I haven't been the most patient when waiting for growth (spoilt by early growth in his front and mid scalp), but they've been right every time so far.

I had 1500 for the front and 2000 on my crown.
You're a way off yet so don't worry. The scalp takes longer and that was last to come in, I was a bit worried but was patient and finally after roughly 14-16 months it just seemed to thicken out. It all takes longer than 12 months for the full effect so you've got lots of time left. Just look after your hair and keep taking your finasteride and minoxidil, if you chose to of course. Also we can't really compare with anyone truly, as our hair donor grafts are all different. Mine were very thick thankfully! hope this helps

Ok sure, it’s harsh that way argh haha!
I can see why you’re asking for that. I’ve taking this quick one myself so apologies if it’s bit blurry.
It’s under a hard light so nothing that you wouldn’t get I recon. I’ll try and get another if my missus can help me.

You can see the parting of the scalp though which is natural if it’s comes that way I guess plus a little more thought the grafts.
I’m absolutely happy with the natural look of this, and under no illusion, especially compared to what I was like 18 months ago!

I take 1mg of Finasteride daily plus a minoxidil spray twice a day.
I also take biotin for general heath.

Yes I'm so happy and thank you. It was a huge leap of faith but it paid off thankfully, I've got my life back.
The team at Hair Dr are wonderful. The aftercare has been second to none. The fact that I can pop in and see them when I need to is so reassuring also.

Building positive relationships with clinics is key to picking the right clinic. Surgery is risky for anyone and we do get desperate as bald men hoping for the best. One thing I've noticed is how much effort The Hair Dr clinic put into their aftercare and the engagement with patients. I've heard many stories of how clinics across the world simply wash their hands with patients once they've had surgery. They just don't have time to deal with them sadly. It's amazing to hear you can pop in any time and have a chat!

Absolutely. There are a passionate group people, making sure I was happy and comfortable was always evident and still is 18 months on.They've put my mind at rest on every instance. I can't tell people where they should go, but I'm just glad I went there.

Absolutely, I was worried around the 12 month mark but the clinic reassured me that it takes longer and by 14-15 months it was really thickening out to the point where you couldn't tell anymore. Yes when you comb it all forward you can see my scalp a little but I never have my hair like that anyway. I'm very very lucky it's worked out due to may thick donor area. Thanks for your support
