Hair Loss Success story

My hair loss success story.

Thought I`d give something back to say thanks to everyone who contribute on this forum and maybe help someone along the way.

I noticed my hairline thinning at 22, mainly in the temple corners. It was taking the typical V shape of an older guy I hid it well for 3 years with the use of DermMatch, one day I made the mistake of going out without any DermMatch on. The inevitable happened, I bumped into my friends, my hair immediately attracted their attention. They were asking wtf happened to your hair in a concerned manner. I blamed it on stress worked. This made it impossible to use DermMatch again, I couldn`t go back and forth with and without hair, after much agonising I decided i should have a hair transplant.
Off I went to see a hair loss clinic, I thought I'd be seen by a doctor but it was only a consultant who never instilled any confidence. He was too pushy, wanting to book me in straight away without seeing a doctor. I was uncomfortable with this, made my excuses and left.
I spent the next few weeks checking out different doctors websites, the choice out there was overwhelming. I was getting confused and frustrated, then I stumble across this site. I spent the next month reading everything. Some of the results from the big 3 hair loss treatments were amazing, so I decided to give them a go.
Fast forward 18 months, my hair is looking great. I`ve responded really well to them, my hair has gradually returned, this tied in well with my friends who put my hair returning to my stress levels returning to normal. My advice to any young guy like myself is give them a try before going for a hair transplant. Maybe when i`m older i`ll need one but for now i can move on with my life and not focus too much on my hair.
Wishing everyone finds a solution to their hair loss.

Congratulations. Sounds like you are a great responder to the meds. Must be great to be free from the concealers. They're a life saver in the early years of hair loss but bring with them their own stress-inducing issues!

Hopefully the meds continue working for you for many years. Thanks for posting.

Thanks Pete. I've read differing accounts where some say they lose their potency after 10 years, whilst others say they never lose it. Hoping I'm in the latter category.

Hi Bullitnut. That is the treatment plan I`m on. I did try the liquid but found it too messy, switched to the foam after a week. The applicatication process is quick, easy and is dry within minutes.
