Hello, I had a hair transplant with Dr Mark Tam just over 6 months ago and wanted to share my experience. I had around 1000 fue grafts implanted into my hairline, and have attached photos below showing the hairline the day I first met Dr Tam, then the hairline after a week, then at 6 months.
I honestly couldn’t be happier with choosing Dr Tam and his team; they were professional and kind, and the procedure was actually a comfortable experience where I spent half the day listening to music and the other half watching Netflix. They did a great job and I’m really looking forward to seeing the final results later down the line.

Hi 2020 hairtransplant, welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing your story.
It`s good to hear the whole experience went smoothly for you. Your hairline has filled in nicely at 6 months with another 6 to go.
What age are you?
All the best.

Those thousand grafts have helped the thinning blend back into your hairline creating a fuller natural look. It`s quite a lot of growth so far.

Hopefully, you don`t recede further. Are you using any hair loss medications?
Using a conservative number of grafts to restore your hairline is a wise move and good planning by Dt Tam.

Yes, I use finasteride. I used it for a long time before the procedure to stabilise the hair loss and will continue to take it.

Even with the possible sides, it`s still the best option out there until something else comes along.

Do you have any donor extraction pictures from the day of surgery?

Ok, no problem. Your donor probably looks untouched now.
