Hair transplant post op saline water

Hi I had my FUE hair surgery this Wednesday and the surgery ended 5pm

I left at 5.30 pm
I was given a small bottle of saline water which I had to spray on my transplanted hair every 15 minutes and was advised to do this for three days they advised when the small bottle of saline runs out to use bottled water . I used the saline water they supplied and sprayed it for the rest of the day of my surgery and to the early hours the next morning of Thursday morning but
I did not have any bottled water so I used tap water to do two or more sprays then then the shop opened on Thursday morning around 9.am i bought some bottled water and continued using bottled water to spray ever since

I'm now paranoid and worrying that the few sprays that I did may have damaged my new transplanted hair follicles as there must be a reason why they advise to use bottled water instead of tap water for the spraying post op
Really worried now as i used the tap water or am I being paranoid and would tap water instead of bottled water make difference given that it was just two or three sprays

If it was really that crucial you would think they would supply you with more saline water or bottled water to make sure their patients don't use tap water and if tap water was that bad you would think bottled water would be bad also

Any advice would be appreciated especially from any medics

Thanks in advance

Quite a few people will walk their hair the day after surgery. This is tap or shower water and does no harm. I am pretty confident no harm will come to your grafts.

Yes since writing this thread I have read some that some hair clinics actually advise their patients to wash their hair the next day in tap water and I have only sprayes my hair a few times which is no where near as much water that would be used to wash the hair

The spray usually helps to reduce scabbing and depending on what type of spray, speed up the healing process.
Your grafts are fine.
Who did you have your HT with?

I went to Harely Street hair growth clinic in Manchester
My surgeon is called Dr Masoor Munir

I had my surgery on Wednesday so it's been 3 days

Today was the first day I have been told to wash it

If you want more saline solution it’s relatively cheap to buy online.

As bigmac says, you won’t have affected your grafts at all - it’s just important you keep the area moist and clean.

Thanks for your reply
I don't need any saline solution as I have been.using bottled water for the last two days to spray and I have finished the spraying now as I have been directed to wash in baby shampoo now for the next two weeks
