Hair Transplant Recovery Times?

What are the realistic time frames to look normal after a hair transplant? I`m in the process of booking my surgery date but undecided if I should go for it in the Summer or wait until the Winter so I can wear a hat without looking too conspicuous.
I wish to keep my hair transplant a secret from everyone - therefor I`ll need to hide away until I look normal again.

It all depends on hat type of surgery you go for, size of surgery, what your current hair is like, where you`re wanting the grafts etc.

If you go for FUE the healing process in the donor region is usually quicker than if you went for strip. The recipient area`s should heal the same with both types.

Hi Roxane it depends on where your getting the work done on your head! If it's the crown it won't be too noticeable but if it's temple area and front it will be noticeable depending on how red the area is. The redness can last a long time depending on the person!
