What do you think the timeline is between these hairline pictures?

This is my hairline 10 - 12 years later, all these pictures were taken on the same day. Lighting and angles can make your hair better or worse.
The last picture is how I see my hairline when looking at it unless under a bright light which makes it look thinner.

That's a great exercise to show that impact!
I also imagine a lot of people are like me and focus on / look for thinner patches in my own hair, even if other people don't notice as much

That’s correct, we do tend to focus on what we perceive as our own imperfections but others will most likely not notice them unless it’s sub par unskilled work that does stand out.

Thanks for showing how the lighting and angles influence how we see results. I’d never have guessed all the pictures were taken on the same day.

Just goes to show how pictures can be used to show good or bad results. Looking closer, I see the spot on the brow is less prominent in the last picture. Did you pick the surrounding dead skin from it?

Hi Techno. I thought the pimple would give it away. I did apply cream to the dead skin to fade it out.

Good post bigmac, probably caught everyone out. Goes to show how the look can be altered so easily to make look better or worse. Thanks for this, can this be pinned as a reminder as what to look for when looking at results posted.

Yes, it is quite easy to manipulate images, sometimes intentional, other times not.

Hair loss is really a serious problem for both men and women. The experts say’s that there are many causes of hair loss. There have always been solutions to resolving unwanted hair problems like Laser hair removal, but they are predominantly all temporary practices that require ongoing maintenance. The best treatment to grow permanent hair is hair transplant because no oil or medicine can do a job for you.

Amazing how different it looks especially the last picture with your hair pulled back… It gives a false perspective on the density making it appear much thicker.

You are playing games with us. :(

I am also really blown away with the gentleman Anthony Constantinous post up there, it really makes sense according to the topic.

Yes Bri, it shows how photos can be misleading and why consultation is also important. The pimple was a giveaway..

That pimple was a stubborn bugger. But as you say, pictures don’t always tell the whole story. In an ideal world, everyone would get an in person consult but logistically for most, it will not happen until the day of surgery or possibly the day before.

Thanks for posting these examples Bigmac. They help illustrate how easily just glancing through images can give the wrong impression.
