I originally had my eyes set on Dr Patty. But I do like Fuecapillar as well
I’m 28 but I have a good relationship with my parents and my mom is worried sick about me going to Thailand by myself and would much rather she go to turkey because we know family friends who have gone to Turkey for hair transplants plus it’s a lot closer.
The difference in price is not that much but my mom said she is willing to pay for my flight tickets and hotel and save me anywhere from 1,200-2000k just for me to go to Dr Gur over Dr Patty. She’s an accountant and makes decent money but I didn’t intend on her paying for any of it
Can I expect a huge difference in choosing Dr Gur over Dr Patty? I hope I’m not making a mistake just to appease my mother. I also hope I’m not making a mistake by going to Dr Patty
Here are my pros and cons:
HAIRTRAN PROS: -cheaper procedure (by about 1000 euros) -nicer experience (seemingly with the foot massagers and stuff) -thicker hairline? (Open to having anyone challenge me on this) -visiting an Asian country for the first time -0 bad reviews -I got to speak with Dr Patty via video call
HAIRTRAN CONS: -much farther away, longer travel times -my mom would be very worried about me for a week -will not work on my crown -hairlines seem very straight and can appear unnatural (I didn’t care I like the boyish look, but maybe I don’t actually want that) -works mostly on Asian men -takes at least 12 hours to respond
FUECAPILLAR PROS: -great record besides maybe 1 or 2 bad reviews but otherwise very established and respected clinic -I’m Eastern European and he can probably have a better idea of my natural hairline as opposed to Asian men -much much closer, easier travel -mother will pay me to pick and make the cost for me the same as Hairtran -I can offer my parents the peace of mind of knowing I’m not so far away just in case anything happens -likely to find other people doing hair transplants on the way home
FUECAPILLAR CONS: -seemingly conservative hairlines (maybe this is something I want as i approach 30) -not seeing as much thickness as Dr Patty -1 or 2 complaints of pluggyness -third time in Istanbul and not really a new experience for me -have done less research on this place and Turkey overall has a lot of mine fields
Is there any point in doing any work on my crown? Or would they put some grafts there anyway?
Also if anyone has any recommendations for reputable doctors in Turkey with a budget for $5k I would appreciate that too.
