Has anyone had a hair transplant with this company Or specifically these Surgeons?

Has anyone (or know of anyone, or seen results of) had a hair transplant with Dr Shuja Chaudhry or Dr Zabeeh Ullah?

I’m considering going for a consultation soon and then having two separate procedures carried out 8-12 months apart for £9000, their site states they have carried out over 8,000 successful transplants, when I think about it that isn’t that many considering how many locations they have in the UK (plus one in Turkey) anyway, it would be interesting to know if anyone here has used them or knows anyone else who has or perhaps considered this company and/or these particular surgeons but ultimately decided to go elsewhere and why?

Thanks all

Never heard of them. Choose by doctor rather than clinic. In my 15 years of being around the HT scene not come across any of their result. There are some good UK surgeons such as Farjo, Reddy, Miln. Those would be the top of my list if staying in the UK.

Dr Egan? Bearing in mind I’m NW7? My budget just about stretches to £15,000

I would consult with a few clinics to get an opinion on what is achievable for you.
What are your expectations Result wise?

I may just go down the SMP route as the best I’m going to get from what I’ve been quoted so far is SMP combined with 3500 grafts using FUE, I understand it will look better to have some actual hair but I would like have to have it at a number 1 length whereas I could settle for zero length through just SMP but without having to take fesisteride and monoxicil for life

Barndog,

I would say to tread very carefully in regards to hair restoration, speak to other patients who are in the same hair loss category as you, which is NW 6-7. Keep in mind that you only have so much donor hair to cover all the areas that you’ve lost hairs, so make sure you do the math on donor supply and the number of hair required in the recipient area. Donor supply is finite and typically the lower NW scales will have enough donor hair to move to the recipient areas to achieve desired density. The clinic will need to manage your expectations for them to end up with a happy/satisfied patient. Stay away from clinics who just want your money by telling you what you want to hear. Cost of repairs tend to cost more than the initial surgery fee.
Even SMP, please be careful with this treatment as well. SMP is typically used to help a head of hair look thicker. If you decide on this treatment, ask to see as many results of patients who have similar hair loss degree as you and ask to speak to past clients to get their feedback.

Are you on any hair loss prevention meds to keep the donor hairs you currently have?

I am not on any medications, no, that’s a plus of SMP, no medications

Remember you will need top ups with the SMP to maintain the look.
