Welcome to the forum May and thanks for sharing your story. Those 4093 grafts should make a very nice transformation for you. The placement looks nice refined very clean work that I see with all the Hattingen patients.
Were the 342 FUE grafts singles that were selected specifically for the hairline?
Are you on a hair loss prevention regimen?
I`ll look forward to following your progress.
All the best.

Hello Bigmac! Thank's! I thing 70% of 342 used for hair line and 30% for the crown since Doctor Laura says that the crown schould also consits of single or fine haires.
I am on finastiride genreic for the last 3 months and going to continue use it. 1.25mg per day every 4 days and 1 day free of it.

Here is 6th day post OP

Everything looks to be healing on track for 6 days. Hopefully, the med regimen you’re on will maintain amnd improve your hair for a long time.
How are you finding sleeping with the staples?

I sleep good thank you! Staples did not bother me at all from the day one. I can sleep on my back or on the sides. No problem at all, I do not feel any pain but I can feel the staples. I take ibuprofen (light pain keller) before going to sleep.

I am going to continue posting photos since I feel it is my social responsibility. I looked through dozens topics created by Hattingen Hair Clinic patients during my decision making process before my HT. Mostly I just viewed the threads)) and I did not post much comments. I think majority of people do so )

It’s good to hear you're sleeping ok. I did similar to you, popped a pain pill before bed just in case. It does feel good though when you have them removed. It may be a little tender for a short while. I really appreciate you documenting your journey. It will help others that are busy looking at clinic options.

You had a strip surgery too? Do you have a topik with your photos?

Post-op healing looks good. There doesn’t seem to be much redness.

Hello. About a month after surgery. I am shedding. My doctors say it is normal. First grow usually falls out. I should wait couple months for next grow. Redness is still there. I will make photos under the same light every time in the fiture.

Hi May, I hope you found my comments on my own thread helpful about your transplant and got my last message ok? - as these comments are about your transplant I've continued it on your thread here - and to let you know that I've checked your 3 months progress with mine and I'd say they're about the same...... so as you're impressed with my 10 month results this should hopefully provide you with some degree of comfort. I'd say yours may be fuller in the forelock area but that I suspect is because you had more native hair there at the outset - and hence the vital importance relayed of taking meds to ensure the retention of existing hair. If you want to compare your 3months photos for yourself my 11 week photos are at 3 Sept 2022 on my posts first page.

As I've said on my own thread, the worst bit about the transplants is the waiting and not knowing - as we don't know what to expect, and that's one of the huge benefits of the forum as people can advise on this and hopefully reduce the worry / anxiety or advise how to improve things.
I will be following your progress and don't ever worry about asking any questions. I'll be posting some more photos shortly after a hair cut and with the hairline close-up that you'd like to see.

Thanks a lot Cooty! Appreciate this. Yes I saw your 11 weeks progress and it gives me some comfort. Took 0,5 mg of fin this morning. Will see if there will be some side effects. I saw good result on the people who did not get any meds (at least they say so) thogh.

Hello May, apologies for the late reply.
For 3 months your hair looks good. It’s the beginning of the growth for you which should hopefully keep improving month on month. When comparing to your pre-op picture I can see the difference in coverage which is the transplanted grafts starting to grow.
Thanks for the update.
