Hi Sparky,
The Surgeon was Dr Kyriacos Maras. I was thinking about getting the scar done next time around, I was told I have between 4000 & 5000 grafts left so in the future if it looks like I can spare a few for the scar I will definitely get it covered. Have you had any experience with Propecia? Do you know if it really helps cutting further hair loss & improving the current hair quality?

I haven't lost any native hair at all since about 2002, which is when I started Propecia. I haven't had any side effects as far as I know either.
It definatly helps imho.

looks clean and good ,i been on propecia for 6 months now and i seen good results,i never had any bad sides in fact i feel better on propecia than i did before ,i think its because i can see it working,i been thinking about hdc ,frontal recceding,how much did you pay if your ok sharing that info if not msg me. ive looked at loads of clinics and cant make my mind up,do you really rate hdc cheers in advance

I've been on Propecia for about 2 months now, no side effects and the quality of my hair seems better already although too early to see any regrowth or significant results. Like you, I searched and researched for a long time before going ahead with my 2nd HT. I was naive with my first and went to one of the big UK corporates and that was a mistake. It can get confusing as there are so many clinics out there that claim to be good and sites to read giving a wealth of information. Talking to clinic representatives face to face will give you a better idea of how they operate. I did about 6 consultations before I went ahead with this one. What I can tell you is that HDC treated me well, paid for the flight and accommodation but what it really comes down to, and what we're really all interested in is the Result! I had a 2400 graft procedure to 50 square centimetres of the front of my head, but I'm only just over 2 months post op and the yield will start around the 3 - 4 month stage, at the 5 - 6 month stage I'll be able to tell you whether HDC did what we discussed which was density. Mathematically if you divide 2400 by 50 you get 48 grafts per square centimetre which should yield well over 50 hairs per C2. My op was a 2 day FUE prodedure, please feel free to check out my 3, 4, 5, 6 month post op pics starting at the end of this month (Feb12).
