Patient Profile

  • Age: 38 years old
  • Previous Procedure: Strip surgery performed several years ago By another Clinic
  • Goal: Increase density in the previously transplanted area
Challenges

  • Although the donor area appeared healthy, previous strip surgery can complicate FUE extraction.
  • This is due to changes in the direction of follicular units caused by skin tension during strip closure and suturing.
Procedure Overview

  • Grafts Extracted: 4,150
  • Technique Used: FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction)
  • Coverage Area: Grafts were distributed evenly from the front to the crown to enhance overall density.
  • Donor Management: Punching was evenly distributed across the entire donor area using a small punch size to minimize trauma as you can see in the donor post op photos.
    • This approach preserved the uniform appearance of the donor zone, leaving no visible signs of depletion.
Results

  • No Shock Loss: The procedure did not cause any loss of existing hair.
  • Natural Appearance: The newly transplanted grafts integrated beautifully with the previous transplant, resulting in a dense and natural look.
