I am 30 and balding, is a hair transplant a good solution?

I am already 50% balding and its really crazy that im only in my 30s. I really want a drastic improvement, but is a hair transplant a good choice? If so, can anyone suggest a reliable clinic here in Australia?

Have you tried any of the medications to prevent more loss and maybe regrow some lost hair.
Are you thinning all over your scalp or certain area ie crown or frontal third only.

my hairline is receding up to the crown area. i tried propecia, but it was not giving me the results i wanted even after a year of use. aside from that, the side effects were also an issue with me.and being desperate for a solution that actually works, it is the reason why i considered surgery.
