Hi Johnny. The growth looks about right for 2000 grafts spread across that area. Zooming in I can see grey hairs too that donut really show when looking in normal focus.
Prior to surgery were you slick bald in the transplanted area?
How does it look from a frontal view? You should have a hairline that frames your face.
You may want to have another HT donor permitting if you want more density. Have you been in contact with the clinic?

Hi Bigmac, thanks for the reply. Yes, I was slick bald and I’m booked in for second HT in August to do another 2000 on top of head. Then 6 months later doing the crown area then hopefully filling in with beard hair.

For a transplant with 2,000 grafts, the results are quite satisfactory. Given the extent of your baldness, covering the area with only 2,000 grafts is significant.
However, trimming your hair short will make the scalp more visible. Hair transplants create an illusion of density, especially for individuals with advanced hair loss. Therefore, keeping your hair longer will enhance the overall appearance and will create an illusion of density.
You said you are going to add another 2,000 grafts so When you add another 2,000 grafts, it will significantly improve the visual impact, and you'll notice a substantial change in your look once all of them would grow.
Best of luck brother.

Did you have the 8 month follow up with Dr Farjo? Another 2,000 will add quite a big difference in your appearance.

Hello looks really good considering u are slick bald
U will never get the density u want BUT looking at u as u are a older gentleman I think if u have a shorter back and side, not 2 short,it will give the apperance of a fuller look,
I like the density as it frames ur face alot better

I like how it lays flat 2 ur scalp as it looks more natraul looking
The amount of guys I've seen when they cut short the transplants stick upwards like brissles on a toothbrush
It's a good natraul result

No probs honestly it looks natraul which is the main thing and most importantly direction of hair is spot on
Try not to get hair greed trying 2 chase density
I think u should have the next transplant in the crown section to blend in the ist one, maybe gets some of the grafts from the 2nd transplant u have into the 1st transplant area u had,cos crown area eats up alot of grafts, and cos u are a older gentleman, sorry to say that ha crown areas in older gentleman tend to be less thinner so that way u get that nature ageing result

Again thanks for your feedback Phil. Dr Farjo and I have discussed this, he thinks I could get 2 more 2000 graft hts. I think he has done a great job so far. Was not expecting it to be this good tbh. i Was going to use beard hair for a fourth precedure,to fill in, again, Dr Farjo has not ruled that one out. What are your opinions on that Phil?

Oh that's great he can get that many grafts I think u could be OK with just 2nd transplant for the other half of ur head though but takes time don't it to all fill in mature etc
Regards to beard hair I think it's too course ie just strong looking hair so it might be 2 strong looking for ur top of head
I think most guys put beard hair into transplant strip scars as they give a better outcome to hide the scar
But u are going in the right direction just go steady with it and u probably be happy with one more transplant but good u can get more grafts but try 2 be careful cos u might like I said get hair greed which will make u think u haven't got a good result when In fact u have and u will then start that chasing game
U look great mate
Only get better

By the way, ive had several hair cuts, so those pics don’t really show the total growth. Had to cut it to balance the look, and
yes, I know what the expectations are, just want to get the maximum out of the donor area and that’ll do me.
I do agree with you about beard hair, just going to go on Dr Farjo’s advice. Have you heard good things about Dr Farjo?
And what is your position Phil?
and thanks for the compliment, it really is a miracle that I can have hair again after so long being bald.

Oh great, u have a great understanding of what u can achieve, yeah trying to blend it all in with haircuts is what most guys do.it will fall into place.dr farjo has been doing hair transplants for yrs and yrs, there's only 2 guys in uk that in my opinion are good,dr farjo and dr edward ball
My position is I have 3 hair transplants, all I had was a receding hairline
1st was 2003 I was 23 yrs
2nd 2008 I was 28yrs
3rd 2010 30 yrs
I'm left with 2 big strip scars back of head, hair that grows in bad direction at front and now thinned behind transplants so my hairs a mess
Spent thousands on hairloss cures
Etc etc etc
I been to most clinics in uk
I been to America clinics
And abroad clinics
I know all the rubbish they tell u to get u in the chair,I know the bad and good clinics out there
So basically I got over 21yrs of research and still learning
U have chosen wisely With dr farjo.
Direction of hair is key in my opinion even if u dont get density u desire as it frames ur face
I'm impressed by how nature it looks and how it lays flat 2 ur scalp as I know most surgeons or techs find it hard 2 do it
