Is there a change with my crown?

For the record my crown goes into a middle part and becomes more apparent when I wear hair product - I can upload images but I just want opinions on my actual crown. The first one is with no product in. The others are a decade ago. I have a small scar on there from having a mole removed.

Do you see any chance in the density or shape of my crown?

A colleague said very loudly in the office that I was balding because you could see scalp at my crown - so I’m now comparing to old images.

Do you see a change?

I’m 35 for reference.

Length is different in the photos and it looks lighter in the most recent? Hairloss is not obvious, there may be some slight thinning in the crown but this could be more to do with lighting and length since hair grows out in a swirl so some scalp will be visible. What does your hairline look like?

Some work colleagues can be so mean. I cannot see anything that you should be concerned about from the photos. Lighting and angles will makes the crown appear different. You have a natural whorl and it is normal to see scalp in that area. That is not hair loss it is the way the hair separates. If you have a history of MPB in your family then you could see someone to have a consultation so they can look closer and see if there are early signs of loss. Getting on a preventative treatment early is going to be a better option.

Yeah I think it’s newer iPhones they keep lightening my hair when I take a pic. Older images were taken on older iPhones or a Pixel.

Yeah my hairlines attached

These are recent then these below are older. So below are 7-10 years old. The initial crown images are ten years apart.

Thank you - I get conscious of my hair, have done since I was in my late teens hence why I have a lot of documented pics but when someone comments it concerns me. I’m hoping it’s just my hair texture being light and fine etc along with my crown - as it goes into an L shape so it makes my crown difficult to style. Also newer cameras don’t help being a lot sharper and brighter.

Thanks

It is worth having a specialist looking at it, you could always book an appointment with Dr Farjo in Manchester, not for a HT but his opinion however looking at your pictures I don't think it is thinning.

I think you have a great head of hair and a really good hairline with lots of volume. Any changes over 7-10 years are minimal.

Hello, noted and thank you for your comments. Appreciate it.

Thanks! You’ve eased my concerns a little - it helps having another set of eyes instead of mine checking pics. Thank you!

Sometimes when shedding hair can look thin. Your first crown picture is under bright lighting that always makes your hair appear thinner. The next pictures show your crown to be in good shape, as is your hairline.
Someone commenting on your hair could be diverting attention as they may have their own insecurities.

All looks great with your hair.
If someone bully you, it means he has his own hair insecurities, ignore and go on with your life.

You 100% don’t need a hair transplant mate. Don’t let people get to you and most people on here would kill for a head of hair like that

Totally agree with @josh145, and others, and only weak people try to bully others. With your hairline position, low central forelock, crown covered and what looks to be a strong healthy hair coverage there is nowhere to place hair. You are holding on to a decent head of hair. Hair will change as we age, sometimes the hairline matures, sometimes the hair quality slightly changes. If you are concerned maybe look at meds, minoxidil, finasteride.
