So I don't even know when I started balding or how my hairline even is supposed to be, I had long emo-like hair at 15 and then cut it short 1 month before my 16th birthday and I noticed something weird on my hair, it kind of resembled that of those old ugly guys in their 20's, I didn't like it but I couldn't point out what was wrong because back then I didn't know about what a receding hairline was or how balding even started, prior to this I don't remember having a receded harline because I just always had a fringe and never had any haircut that showed my hairline so I don't know exactly how my hairline is supposed to be or when it started to recede, my hairline receded a bit more at 17 and I started using minoxidil at 19 in hopes of regrowing my hairline in its entirety, 2-3 years after I started using it all the hair in my hairline was regrowth but it was all thin short hair, that grew on the first months of me using the product and never got thicker and longer, I started balding on top a month before turning 23 and some years later I got on finasteride and regrew most of what I lost on the crown (I avoided for some years due to fearmongering about the side effects and because I was already dealing with other kinds of ED and I didn't wanted more fucking erectile disfunction), I finally decided to get a hair transplant for my hairline at 22 but I started to bald on top and didn't wanted to take fin so I postponed until some months ago when I went to a hair transplant clinic and they said that for some people topical liquid minoxidil doesn't work and that a transplant wasn't needed and that I could regrow all my hair by switching topical fin to oral finasteride, finasteride to dutasteride and getting mesotherapy once a week, so I decided to do this since a transplant cannot get you your natural density and I still had to thicken hair on my crown from all those years of miniaturization, the thing is that 2 months have gone by and I don't really see any noticeable results (maybe a slight thickening on the hairs closer to the rest of the hair), am I being bullshited and having my time wasted? I want to fix my hairline, and get it to how it was supposed to be, for some reason they put me on 0.5mg minox for the first 10 days, 1.0mg for the next 10 days and 1.5mg for the next 30 days and I was put on 2.5 minox a week ago but I started taking 2 pills a day instead of one to a total of 5mg of minox a day because that's what I see is used online, I was thinking about starting ru 58841 as I read online that the halrine is mostly affected by testosterone of which I have natural levels above 1500 ng/dl (I had to take a test a month ago and it didn't measure aboe 1500ng/dl) whereas the crown is affected mor by dht, I was also thinking about getting 10mg minox from abroad, where I live I have to get oral minox in pill form done at a pharmacy because there are no local brands selling it in that form.
tl;dr
Topical minoxidil can only grow short and thin hairs on my harline, Can I regrow my hairline by taking ru58441, switching from 5mg oral minox to 10 mg oral minox and continuing mesotherapy? or should I go to a different place to get a hair transplant and quit wasting time?
Pics (from what topical fin regrew my hairline was never supposed to be straight but not as receded as it appears here):
