Hi,

I had my procedure a few months ago in June, the clinic is fantastic and so far everything seems to be on track?

Coming up to 5 months in November, excited to see how much more it improves, keeping my fingers crossed.

Happy to answer any questions about Dr Farjo and his team or the procedure and recovery.

1-hair grafts: 183
2-hair grafts: 608
3-hair grafts: 1029
4/5-hair grafts: 244

2064 FUE grafts (using the Trivellini device), with a follicle total of 5450 hairs, averaging 2.64 hairs perextracted graft. That sounds pretty good to me?

It looks like you are heading for a good result comparing your before and 4 month after pictures. The extractions and planted grafts look excellent snd very precise. Has thee been much improvement since your 4 month picture?

What is the density of your hairline with the pre-made slits?

Thanks for adding your story to the forum. The work looks nice and clean. Looking at your 4 month picture it seems you’re a fast grower. I’m guessing you’ll be very happy with the progress to date. I`ll look forward to your next update.
All the best
BM.

It’s reassuring to hear that from you bm, thanks.

I’m not sure on the specific number, but I know Dr Farjo uses between 35-50 cm2 for the whole area.

Thanks mate, I think some of the hairs are starting to thicken up, it feels like something it happening anyway.

Two weeks until 5 months:

Long way to go but this early growth is very encouraging.

I’d be very happy with the progress. The density should continue to get better considering what you say Dr Farjo plants at.

5 Month Update

The native hair is still doing a lot of the work and I've got a cover up haircut on the go, but it's more like the cover up haircut I had 15 years ago, it's a really strange and brilliant feeling.

What more can I expect from here? Is it just maturing and thickening? Trying not to fall into the trap of hair greed!

I'm happy with the progress though, especially the hairline.

It’s getting better and better with every passing month. You can expect more growth and maturing as the months go by. The gift of hair at the front is resigned to history now because of the full hairline you now have.

I think you're making great progress so far. The hairline has taken shape, looks natural and should get better. The density behind is filling in nicely. You're only at 5 months, plenty of time for more improvement.
If I were you, I`d be happy with everything so far. Are people noticing the difference?
Thanks for the update.

Thanks guys, the reassurance really helps honestly.

I can’t work out how to upload video but I always found them useful when researching, can post one of a wet brush through if anyone can tell me how to post it

You’d need to upload to Vimeo or YouTube first, then paste the link.

The right hand side seems to be further on than the left side, hoping this little gap fills out:

Looks okay from a different angle though:

Really happy with the hairline design, something I can grow old with and looks really natural to my eye.

6 more months to go, fingers crossed

Looking really good.
you must be extremely pleased.
I’ve seen similar cases by other Drs where quiet a few more grafts were used to cover similar areas.
Do you think there is any particular reason you got good early growth ?

Thanks mate! I think it’s mainly that I’m lucky with my donor area, curly thick hair and there seems to be more than average triples in my count compared to most breakdowns I read?

I take finasteride 1/mg a day, although I do question sometimes whether I want to be on it for life and instead have another op if I lose more hair without it.

I did increase my protein intake after the transplant by drinking huel shakes.

I took recovery seriously and booked 2 weeks off from everything.

I also think forums and clinic should start putting more of a spotlight on the technicians so we could compare them, my theory is they have a big say on the final outcome. Farjo has a great team working with him, skilled and highly knowledgeable, they all seemed really into their work.

I’m sure your triples will most certainly help however Dr Farjo does seem to still get good results whilst being conservative with graft numbers.

That looks brilliant. You were practically bald on the front but now it looks full.
