Hi guys,

just wondering if i started a thread about my own experiences could i lock it so only members can read?

Or jus block the photos from being seen by non members?

Any other advice about starting a thread is welcome.

Hi Big Mac. I would be interested in you doing that for my thread too. I assumed non members could not see pics. Cheers

Thing is all members are anonymous really unless they got full face pictures, newbies researching could miss out on vital information if threads are invisible to them, on the other and I suppose I could have a section viewable to members only, then more lurker s will join to view, what do others think.

So there will be two patient sections and its your choice which section to post in

Exactly i would have thought it will increase number of members and people seriously reseraching to join up. Once joined its easier for them to contribute.

Ok i`ll see how many more would like this, maybe the member can have their thread in both sections but only pics in the hidden one.

My personal preference would be for a members only area for HT patient results and another section for HT patient results for those whom don't mind non members seeing their results If this was an option I would have no issues with my face being shown once I have had my procedure. It is also quite reassuring for other posters to see the real us and know we are real human beings and not Reps for HT Clinics.
Making all sections available for members only would be detrimental to the forum and encourage them to use other forums.
I don't mind being recognised my members, but I do not want to be recognised by people who know me.

But anyone can join and view your pictures without posting, you still wont know who is viewing them.
