well first off, hello to all of you out there!. I have been a long time stalker on the forum and have taken the dive, well im off to see a consultant for HDC this month to look at if I could look at FUE and what i will need.

What do i want from you then? well some advise is always nice! I am only looking to add desity to the top, i dont feel that lowering the line is going to be a great idea at all!

i have been on meds for the last 5-6 years and i do have it controlled but id like to go this way now!

Click user gallery under your screen name, add pics to gallery, then on a post click the G icon on toolbar, it takes you to gallery, click a pic, then click G again and repeat as many times you want, add as many pics to a post via the gallery.

IMO I would say 2 - 2500 grafts would fill that area in nicely depending on how dense you want it to be.It's good to hear you're on the meds and your hairloss has stabilised.
You are a good candidate for Fue if that's the way you want to go.

thanks bm, sadly that consultant in not in the uk for a bit now so might get in to look at DR Ball.

Still, you are looking at a mega session and still have a riks of shock loss.

Hi Bverotti, im on finpecia and have been for 4-5 years after a stint on duts.
any idea on the grafts req? where would i see the shock loss??

I've seen Dr Balls work in person, it was very good.
Consult with a few clinics and compare their estimates, they should all be around the same amount of grafts.

I would say go for at least 3000 grafts, if the donor allows for better 3500 grafts.
Shock loss is a strange beast, it can strike anywhere anytime and especialy when you least expect it.
My personal view is that after using finasteride for a longer period of time I would go ahead in your case.

I think that 3.000-3.500 grafts are too much for your case. I believe that placing 2.000 grafts in combination with meds you can achieve a great result. As your photos may differ from reality i would suggest that you visit one of our clinics in the UK and have a free alopecia test so as to calculate the life time hairs that we can extract from your donor area.

Well I'm booked in to see pro hair and a few other to book. Dose not look that bad in the flesh to be fair. Will just have to wait and see what the experts think can be done.

Yea wet hair always looks worse, that's why my guess was 2/2500 to make a really good difference. Try to make a list of questions you want to ask as you always forget something.
