Patient Coordinator
Dear Forum Readers,
My name is Alex and I work at HDC Medical Clinic as an international patient coordinator. I coordinate international English speaking patients and I travel to our central London office for regular free consultations. I provide detail explanation of both techniques (STRIP, FUE) and advice on all the available options a potential hair transplant patient has.
As a hair loss sufferer my self class 3v on the Norwood scale could relate to the concerns of most of the people that I have been advising so far and what is more, enjoying with them the success of their hair restoration without me going through a hair transplant procedure.
As a representative of the clinic in the UK I came across a lot of scepticism from a lot of people as to why didn t I have a procedure myself as yet even though I could go into amazing details regarding either procedure.
Finally last week I was scheduled for a procedure and I am now officially a hair transplant patient.
Further to this few words I will be presenting my HT case which took place on the 1[suP]st[/suP] and 2[suP]nd[/suP] of July 2010. The team extracted 2149 grafts using the FUE technique over the two consecutive days. The breakdown is as follows:
Single hair follicles: 795
Double hair follicle: 1133
Triple hair follicle: 221
The single hair follicles were used for the frontal hairline.
Luckily on those dates Dr. Cole was visiting HDC in Cyprus and he also tried on my case some new tools he is developing.
I will be placing my progress regularly and please feel free to ask me anything regarding my case and hair restoration in general.
Thanks for your time
Alex
