My 3rd HT ( 2 unsuccessful about 15 years ago)

After 2 HT in US about 15 years ago, I decided to do another one.
It has been a month and I have lost many of the transplanted hair. Hopefully they regrow

First picture is about 15 days after HT and second is after 30 days.

Hi Dan. Could you elaborate a bit more on why your first two transplants were unsuccessful and provide more info about this third one? Your healing looks on track.

I had a hair transplant of 2,500 grafts and paid around $15k about 15 years ago. After a year of waiting, nothing grew. The doctor offered to do another one for free. I wasn't thinking that I was jeopardizing my donor area grafts, so he did another 2,500 grafts, with only 200 to 300 grafts growing. While I am not sure about the reason, I think it was due to choosing an inexperienced doctor. This time, I was in Turkey and visited Dr. Serkan Aygin, who is apparently one of the best .

Have you had any tests done to see if there is an underlying issue that could have caused the grafts to fail? If all ok, and it was down to an inexperienced doctor I do hope you get excellent yield this time.
