Hello everyone,
I'm new to this group and currently researching hair transplant clinics in the UK, preferably in London. With the abundance of information available, it's been quite overwhelming, but this group has been invaluable in providing clarity. I'd greatly appreciate any advice you can offer.
**About Me:**
- **Age:** 47
- **Hair Loss History:** Noticed hair loss in my late 30s, which then stabilised for several years. For the past three years, the situation has remained relatively stable, with minimal additional hair loss.
- **Current Condition:** Receding hairline forming an "M" shape and thinning in the crown area.
- **Treatments Tried:** None (no medication, therapy, laser treatments, PRP, etc.)
**Questions:**
1. **Clinic Recommendations:** As of 2024, which hair transplant clinics based in London or nearby would you recommend? I'm open to travelling outside London if there are better options, but prefer to stay within the UK. Happy to invest between 4k to £10k for the transplant.
2. **Candidacy and Grafts:** Based on my attached images, would I be a good candidate for a hair transplant? Approximately how many grafts might I need?
3. **Expected Results:** While I understand outcomes can vary, if I choose a reputable clinic, can I expect a significant improvement after the first transplant, or might additional procedures be necessary to achieve a thick head of hair?
4. **Post-Transplant Lifestyle:** How does a hair transplant impact daily life in terms of maintenance? Are there restrictions on fitness routines or other activities? Are side effects like headaches or migraines common?
Thank you in advance for your guidance!
