Nioxin Dermabrasion on TV advertised as a hairloss treatment?

This week on Body shockers it featured a young lady who had hair loss and thinning hair....she was introduced to a clinic who treated her by massaging Nioxin into the scalp;;D she was told this would fix her loss but heres the cliche she was then offered a system to wear in the meantime until her hair grows back.
This to me looked like a way to sell a system but i could be wrong, what are your thoughts?
