BN was pleasantly surprised by the whole procedure at SMG. Prior to today all he could think about was his old experience with Norton and felt he will experience something similar. He said it was night and day difference.
It's nice of all of you to think of him and wish him well. I know he feels very fortunate.
I believe he'll rest well tonight. We'll get some pics ready for him tomorrow.
BN says he's doing great. He got a good night's sleep last night (much deserved!). He came into SMG around noon for a hairwash, haircut and photos today.
It's been a bit crazy here this morning. It took 2 hours to drive into work this morning so I'm a bit behind (we got tons of snow yesterday). May not be able to post pics until tonight or tomorrow.
thanks for the update... great to hear BN is ok... nice to know that you are looking after one of us Brits so well
As for snow.... we know it well here.... only takes about half an inch and the whole country comes to a stand-still ;;D
One thing I wanted to know..
Have you ever had any UK patients from the South of England... the only reason I ask is that not all of us speak with that sort of accent.... (dont tell Bigmac.. but North of Watford they all sound a little weird, think its the food !!)
Glad to hear that our favourite little bullitnut is doing well. Awesome that he has been taken care of so well. I am sure that he is more than pleased and eager to rant and rave.
I can imagine that it has been brutal there as we have had a string of nasty weather here in Michigan. I am definitely now more of a warm weather fan so the count down for summer has begun.
Great to know that all went well for bullitnut and that he is receiving excellent care and attention from SMG. 2397 grafts will make a significant difference to his appearance. Looking forward to reading the account of the procedure and seeing the photo's.
Hi All, as per my previous post and with input from bullitnut (much appreciated) that i have come across another few sites ukhairtransplants.com & ukhairtransplantclinics.co.uk
It would appear that this none other than the infamous Norton Clinics as i was told my surgery would be carried out by 1 of 4 of their surgeons (GP's laughable) shamalak or goldstone were the only 2 i was made aware of after much hesitation in Wakefield. Apparently they talk of FRCS recognition etc... i dont think i will find either of them on that register.
