Recipient site has healed well. Your donor is recovering well too.
Usually all grafts shed but some can continue to grow.
Are you considering using some beard grafts on your second surgery?

I would say about 50% of the hairs shed and some continued to grow and others are just sitting there not doing much? As for my second surgery, yes I am hoping to have about 500 grafts taken from my beard area

Sounds good. The ones just sitting there could be stalled hairs. This is when the unit has been shed but the hair shaft was expelled meaning it’s just a piece of hair sitting there. A gentle pull with tweezers will remove them. No force is necessary as they should just slip out easily.

Quick up date. 52 days in now , so about 7.5 weeks. God I hate this part. Just want to see some regrowth now

52 days is nothing. Waiting can be tough but not much else you can do.

Is this progress good at 2.5 months? I've read at this stage I should be seeing about 10% of end results?

I'd say so. I'd take those percentages with a pinch of salt to be honest. Everybody is different

Well today is exactly 3 months since my op. Gotta see surgeon on Friday to discuss my 2nd op in about 3 months time. Seem to have some progress so I'm happy. Most people say 4 months on is when it really starts to grow??

Just 2 days before month.4 now. I'm really happy how things are going . In 2 months I go for a check up to get booked on for the crown. So happy I've had this done. Considering I've been norwood 7 for about 24 years!!!

Hi, looking good … I have just about the same head as yourself. I’m booked in at Manchester in August. Any tips on what to expect please .

I'm sure like us all , you've watched every video you can find. Although I never found many with my level of baldness. I wouldn't worry about the procedure as long as you are happy with where you are having it done. The only thing that hurts is the anesthetic which stings like a bitch for about 30 secs till it takes effect. Be very careful with 1st few washes. The worst part I'm sure everyone would agree, is the waiting!!! The 2nd to 3rd month was the worst for me but all of a sudden it just starts happening. I'm showing these photos to help other people with severe hair loss as to what yo expect
