Oral Fin and minoxidil

Hi all … not been on here for well over 10 years, not sure who is still about ? Janna, BigMac, Bullitnut?

Thinking about starting fin and min again, stopped years ago, as hair a thin enough again to see my old plugs, would be nice just to thicken up a bit. I always responded well to meds…

Anyone know best place to get them and if oral min is any good ?

I get my propecia/finasteride from boots online doctor. For Black Friday they had 20% off so I brought 6 months worth at good price.

It’s only on until midnight tonight

I’m good thank you … Hope all good with you .. tbh my repair was just what I needed all those years ago and stopped the glances to my plugs I was so paranoid all those years ago … I know it could have been better but did the trick

I guess just normal aging has thinned my hair a bit and only I can now see those old plugs now and again … nothing major .. so I’m ok with my hair now as just 2 years off of 60 !!

Just wanted a zero hassle way of thickening up a bit if the oral meds were worth it if not I’d leave as is ..

Since we last messaged I’ve retired, become a motorcycle hooligan and settled down with a wonderful lady who manages to put up with my constant mid life crisis …

I’m in SA at the moment, highly recommend it, beautiful people, country and great value for us Brits.

I do often think of you and the others that helped me through a really crap time in my life and will never forget the support you offered … I guess once “cured” from those horrible plugs I just wanted to forget it and live my life, it’s terrible living so paranoid, or not living.

You are doing a great job still, guiding people to what is essentially freedom from a crippling lack of self confidence and image .. amazing work mate, keep it up

Will look at Oxford and decide on what is best for me …

Hey Tim. SA as in South Africa? It is good to hear from you, and know that we were able to help you in your time of need.
I have seen some impressive results from guys using oral minox. It is worth a shot if you are seeing some thinning.
Retired and now a Hells Angel, wtf! I was into old Vespas and Lambretta Scooters, probably still am. What bike do you have?
Good to hear you have a wonderful lady. Does she like the bikes too?
Farjo were selling it too. They may be cheaper than Oxford.

Sorry for the late reply, just got back to the UK and managed to kill my phone while I was away. Yep, South Africa, western cape, have fallen in love with the place and regularly visit, highly recommend it and a bargain for us Brits due to exchange rates etc ..
I’ve got a Yamaha MT09 .. a real hooligan bike, probably reduced my life expectancy by 50% !! late life crisis …and my better half hates it ! Ops ! She was a mod and loves Lambretta and The Jam etc ..
