Hi there, glad I could help you out with my reference case, as others did before to help me
You're in great hands with Dr Feriduni

My aftercare was Vaseline (in abundance) for 5-6 days to prevent scabbing. No touching / washing the area at all during this period
Then switching to Stratamed scar gel (2x day) coupled with gentle daily washing - 3 months minimum, ideally 6

I am leaning towards doing electrolysis on the implanted grafts and donor restocking from beard to donor. I do have strong beard with loads of hair.

I wonder if the plan sounds reasonable to you?

It might be a silly question but is it going to be obvious to tell implanted hair from the native ones? So that whoever does electrolysis knows which hair to kill. I also wonder if dr Ball could be of help in my case too you think?

Sorry to hear you went through the same troubles

If you wish to remove the implanted hairs anyway, why not surgically extract and reuse them for restocking instead of throwing them away? They are the most important asset, you can't buy more of them.
Are you worried about scarring?
Also beard hair is more coarse and has less likelihood to grow

A surgeon (especially a top tier one like Dr Ball) can tell the implanted grafts apart from the native ones. Not sure about an electrolysis tech, you will likely have to guide them (see a great post from Louie in that sense, sry I don't have the link at hand atm)

I suggest you reach out to @David Anderson for a consultation, he's great, helped me so much

Maybe share a couple of photos as well, so folks here can share their experience

Yeah, I definitely do wish to get rid of the hair. And I am worried about 1) scarring and 2) shock loss that might occur to the native hair after removing the implanted ones. I did get shock loss to the donor so I wonder if I may be prone to it.

This being said, it looks like there was basically no scarring in your case. Do you notice anything at all on your skin where the grafts were removed?

On beard to donor - I think the chances to grow are as high as the scalp ones (because beard follicles are so strong). And over time they will mimic the characteristics of surrounding scalp hair I believe, hence my thinking it could be a good idea.

All in all, I now am strongly considering asking Dr Ball for help. Will reach out to @David Anderson.

Looking at my previous snaps, I still feel I haven't shed much after either repair. Maybe it's the oral minox + well vascularized area?

The results have been stable since last update. I got to the stage where I hardly think about my botched HT anymore, even when looking at myself in the mirror

My hair is a bit long at the moment, next week will be posting a guard 1-2 photo

Here's a quick hairline snip I had taken a while back already, in terms of healing of the hairline I really cannot see scarring - amazing what the skin can do with proper care

Also interestingly, even the miniaturizing thin edge hairs survived all this
