Question regarding shock loss + chewing gums after surgery

Hi everybody!
I had a hair transplant 3 weeks ago. Up until yesterday I hadn’t lost any hair, but tonight, I lost a LOT of hair all at once. I know it’s normal to lose hair but is it normal that I lose THAT much at once ?

I also recently read that we shouldn’t chew hard foods or gums for at least 2 to 3 weeks after the transplant. I didn’t know that and started chewing again quite hard chewing gas after 10 days because that’s something I often, I buy very hard chewing gum and chew them. I wasn’t told not to do this. Do you think it could be the reason ?

Here are pictures of my pillow and some hairs

Thank you

Your hairs are shedding that’s all. Why on earth would the clinic say not to eat hard foods?
