Good day to all readers.
I'm 25 and noticed a receding frontal hairline when I was 18-19. Since then my temples receded for 1,5-2 sm and during lockdowns my crown became visible. That's when I followed my brothers' advice and began using 5% minoxidil foam and a skin roller with tiny needles on my head - shaved off my hair in April and since then saw good results. Crown became not as visible and the front has regained some of the hair. I don't know if micro-needling had any significant effect since I started both at the same time. I also take Biotin and some vitamins regularly.
Last week I went to Belgravia in London and they suggested a 10% minoxidil and DHT blocker formula for topical application. I donate blood regularly and would abstain from finasteride pills if possible due to potential side effects. My main concerns are:
1- Is topical finasteride solution safer than pills in terms of side effects?
2- Would 10% Minoxidil and (I think) 0,1% finasteride formula give me better results?
3- Has anyone tried those skin rollers (micro-needling) on their hair and could tell me if it has any positive effect?
4- If I decide to go with this suggested formula, do I have to buy it only from them or would other sellers suffice? I've seen some 5% Minox and 0,1% Finas sprays out there and they are just as easy to get.
I discovered this forum last week and now I'm kind of mad because if I had discovered it earlier, I would have saved and regained more hair earlier.
