Robotic Assisted Hair Restoration - Not Yet Ready?

I had seriously been contemplating using the ARTAS machine for my hair restoration surgery but I keep finding writing advising against it.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Please let me know as I have to make my decision soon.

Why do you have to make your decision soon? if you do not mind me asking. I would wait for some results as it is still early days for the robot.

As much as I hate to say it, my career is largely contingent upon my appearance (I do a lot of video blogging for the company I work for). Just afraid that the longer I wait the more I'll be hurting my career.

Hi Bruins

In that case I would be more inclined to pass on the robot and go with the more widely used techniques. May be worth getting some pictures up, you will get much more of a response and advice that way.

How to proceed depends on a lot of factors such as your donor density, hair characteristics, prior surgery, expectations etc this is something that definantly should not be rushed you could look into some concealers to improve your situation for the time being, while you conduct the necessary research. Well worth getting some consultations with a few doctors in also.

There also have been a few disturbing, freak incidents: a robotic hand that wouldn't let go of tissue grasped during surgery and a robotic arm hitting a patient in the face as she lay on the operating table.
