Rogaine Foam to grow facial beard hair.

Noobie guy here, please be gentle with me if you think my question is stupid.. Started off with Minoxidil liquid regular strength 5 years ago, switched to Rogaine foam a year ago.. The liquid had worked but the application process and drying times became a tiresome chore... The foam is dry within 10 minutes, and actually helps style my hair in place... My hair has improved and maintained itself while using.... Around 2 years ago I noticed new hairs growing above my eyebrows, they increased in numbers and thickened to match my native eyebrow hair.... I have to pluck these out every week.... This has got me thinking, if I apply Rogaine foam to my sparse beard, could it grow hair there? It's definately growing extra eyebrow hairs, so what do you think? I'm thinking of just going for it, only concern I have is skin irritation on my face..... Would love to hear what you all think, better still, has anyone already tried this?

There are some documented cases if you look around YouTube. Most do say they have skin irritation, causing a few to cease usage.

Appreciate that man.. I found some positive results, I'm going to try it for sure. People have only reported irritation which I can counter with creams.. I hope it works.

Hey guys.. I'm back to provide a short summary.
It's been 7 months since I began my experiment with Rogaine foam... I'm delighted to say it's working... My beard has thickened up in areas that were lacking and I have more hair than before.... I started applying it once a day in the morning, once I had the irritation it caused under control I now apply it nightly too.
The irritation was easily remedied with Neutral cream.... I rubbed it in 20 minutes after the foam was absorbed into my skin.
So far so good.

Glad to hear you've had a positive response. A mate of mine also tried it on his beard a few years ago and felt it definitely thickened up slightly.

Good to hear you're having a positive response. I believe some of the new growth may be fine hairs that were already there and they're thickening up with the Rogaine.
Thanks for the update.
