Scalp Pigmentation with Long Hair

On the right candidate micro scalp pigmentation, MSP, can be used with long hair by adding the illusion of density between the existing hair. Adding pigmentation to the skin reduces the contrast between the hair colour and the skin complexion, as long as there is enough surrounding hair for the pigment to blend it can give very pleasing results.

Thanks for the comment. In terms of being a good candidate, there needs to be enough surrounding hair for it to work, otherwise the illusion is lost, so fine hair or diffused hair loss it can work very well. Also the contrast between hair colour and skin complexion, the lower the contrast the less effective the illusion of increased density will be. The higher the contrast, fair skin complexion and darker hair the greater the illusion of density is created, so if the wind blows or the hair is lifted the pigment blocks out enough of the scalp to give the look of greater fullness.
