Some products are designed to give your scalp a matte finish, so choosing the right products is key to controlling shine. 4. Skin Texture: The natural texture and health of the skin can also contribute. Well-maintained and hydrated skin tends to be smoother and may reflect more light. 5. Excessive Sweating: people who sweat a lot may also notice increased shine, as the moisture mixed with sebum on the scalp reflects light. To best manage shine, i suggest using specialized mattifying lotions to my patients. (example: Bee Bald, Scalp Lube) These products will keep the scalp properly moisturized without overdoing it.
