Small op. - too cautious?

Right now I €™m taking Propecia, and despite having some sides may continue with it for the duration Farjo has recommended. Not sure yet..

But, at some point I am thinking about undergoing a small procedure. The point of this will be to determine the length of time it takes to heal, whether the transplanted hair will be successful, and to do so at minimal cost. I will then make the decision whether to commence with a larger operation.

The healing time is a huge concern for me and by having a small procedure, any prolonged redness (if any) can be easily excused away.

Has anyone else here tried such a thing?

Unfortunately most clinics seem to have a minimum charge which may skupper my plan....

Depending what area the transplant will take place and size of procedure will make a difference to the redness, if it's only small procedure there won't be too much trauma on the skin therefor it will usually heal quicker, bigger session is more trauma.
Have you asked the clinics if they will do a small test procedure for you, some offer small sessions like Dhi.

If you wash your head twice a day really helps too.

Dear Purist,

Bigmac is right. After some days the redness is gone. See a picture of a patient 6 days after his procedure. Ask to see a patient live at the DHI Clinic after his procedure.
