SMP for FUT SCAR 8x

I have a FUT scar from a couple years back and I've had over 8 sessions of SMP (From GREAT SMP ppl) that has made the scar look a little better, but it's still white. I keep my hair buzzed and am still getting SMP sessions, but am disheartened that the scar is taking so long and if it'll ever be covered.... Any Advice or Direction?

Also full disclosure I just got some SMP done recently too, so it'll be darker than usual and then usually the white scar eats up the ink

My friend had a regular tattoo over scar tissue some years ago but the colour faded pretty much straight away. I remember him saying the tattoo artist said the scar tissue skin was too thin to hold the ink.

Interesting thank you for the response! Does anyone know any good FUE into scar surgeons? I’d rather do a BHT so my head doesn’t get messed up more, but I just want to get back to normal-ish with somewhat of a scar instead of this BIG one.

You have Konior in Chicago and Shapiro in Minnesota but if it’s body hair you’re wanting it may be worth a flight to see Cole.

Georgia, Atlanta. He might have other locations. Are you thinking of using beard or chest hair?

Rather use body hair to be honest, so that way 100% no more messing up my face lol

Beard is a very good option but with your choice for chest hair I think Cole is the most experienced with it.

I'm looking into having smp into my 2 scars as well
Have u tried to clipper a number 1 guard all over,so a touch longer,would that work ?
Also did u just have smp into the scar as I've been told by smp clinics that u need to have the scars and the whole back of ur head done with smp to blend in better
I think might be best for u to have bead hair into the scar then grow ur hair a touch longer say a clipper 1 or 2 guard

I'm getting SMP everywhere, and it does help definitely blend better, and it's looking good elsewhere, but yeah I'm going to keep going back to the SMP place until they stop on the scar, but I think my next plan if that doesn't work will probably be FUE/SMP

Also a scar doesn't bother me too bad if I had FUE and a little scar at a 1 guard, but it's this big honker haha that's bringing me down

Erm 8 session of smp is quite a lot to only get the result u have
Maybe if u stop the smp for now and look in beard hair into the scar
I've had fue into my bottom scar it nothing really grew
Beard hair is more coarse so I think it would hide scar better
Best to go slow with having beard hair into the scar cos u want to see how it grows first ie blood flow etc
So I reckon have a couple of small procedures of beard hair into scar
See how u get on

Hi mate
I didn't have beard hair
I had fue from back of my head into the scar
I feel stubble on the scar but nothing to saw that it covered well
I had 350 fue into the scar
Maybe they didn't grow cos of scar tissue,weak blood supply
I had it done in the uk England at the fue Europe meeting in Manchester 2018
I've been told by lot of hair surgeons beard hair is better for scar
