Greetings,

Background:
Receded hairline since 16 years old. Slow recession until now aged 33. Most recession occurred around the age of 18-23.

General Hair Type:
Dark brown/Straight/thick

Previous Hair Medication:
None

Post FUE Medication:
None

New/recent Supplementation:
-Hair vitamin tablet ( general one including biotin and zinc and vit D3 )
-Krill Oil ( oral )
-PDRN ( Topical dropper 10,000ppm )
-collagen peptides ( oral )

Previous/Continued Supplementation:
-resveratrol ( oral )
-general multi vitamin ( oral )
-capasal shampoo ( daily shampoo )*
- nizoral shampoo ( once every 2 week )*

Note* been following the clinics recovery schedule and will do until normal hair washing can begin with my usual shampoo. ( 10-14 days )

Post opp regiment - spraying donor and recipient area every 10-20 minutes with saline solution. ( at 10pm before bed I have been dropping PDRN onto both donor and recipient ***not from advice of clinic***).
In mornings using spray shampoo (isobetadine) and washing in shower with a cup then applying some mild antibiotic cream that was supplied from clinic.

FUE operation was carried out on 13/Aug/2022.

Started at 7am. Numbing injections quite sore but apart from that it was an easy operation. Managed to watch the new "prey" film which is surprisingly good. Operation finished around 3.45pm. Doctor Lupanzula carried out all incisions and donor area extractions. Technicians carried out the placement of grafts into the incisions. All staff commented on ease of operation due to skin being in good condition and grafts placing easily. I then had a sandwich and went back to chill in hotel.

More background:
I flew over to Belgium from the UK. Was all very easy and stayed in a hotel close to the clinic. Everything was setup by Scott who is the rep for the clinic and has had a successfull Hair transplant done there himself. I thank him for all his help to get me to this point as we had to wait a long time because of covid. He kept in touch and let me know as soon as I was able to get booked in and he was never pushy.

Okay so now all that is out the way. I will keep the log going with pictures and update when I can.

For anyone wondering why PDRN. I didn't want to leave the scalp dry during the night as I sleep. PDRN showing promising results for scar reversal in recent studies.

Welcome to the forum templefix33.
Your hair loss started early but seems to have stopped after you reached 23. Some people only lose a certain amount of hair and then don’t progress further. I’m keen to learn more about your regimen you’re on, I’ll do some reading up.
It sounds like everything went well during surgery. Your hair characteristics and skin sound like they were perfect for easy extraction and implantation. The design and the work looks good. It should produce a very nice hairline once grown out.
It’s good to hear the communication with Scott was good.
Thanks for sharing your story and I’m looking forward to following your journey.
All the best.

Healing is going well. The cold water and blood circulation may be something. I don’t think I’ve seen a bald Eskimo.

Too early to tell really. Krill is for anti inflammation, PDRN ( got on order just ran out ) is for anti inflammation and also scar wound healing. Collagen oral defo seeing skin improvement
